Hawks Goalkeeper Named All-Conference Honorable Mention
The inaugural season of Men’s Soccer for the York County Community College Hawks ends on a high note – with goalkeeper Ryen Royce earning All-Conference Honorable Mention honors over the weekend.
Ryen finished the season with the second most saves in the conference (66) and a couple of clean sheets in conference matchups - shutting out Hampshire College and U Maine Augusta in a pair of road wins for the Hawks this season.
"As an organization, we are extremely proud of Ryen," said Head Coach Chris Melino. "Ryen made big saves for us all season long and proved to be a great leader on and off the field."
Royce - who's in his first year as a business major at YCCC - played all 900 minutes in net for the Hawks this season. Congratulations to Ryen and the Hawks on a fantastic first season in the YSCC!
