York County Community College Baseball Schedule Release:
After a promising Fall season that saw the Hawks go 6-8, YCCC Baseball is nearing the start of its inaugural Spring Season in the Yankee Small College Conference.
The season kicks off with a series of away games, starting on March 18th with a road showdown against Holyoke Community College. The Hawks will then face off against Bunker Hill Community College on March 20th, followed by important conference games against Southern Maine Community College (SMCC) on March 23rd and 26th. The away stretch continues with a game against Bridgton Academy on March 27th and a trip south to take on New Hampshire Technical Institute (NHTI) on March 28th.
As the season progresses, the Hawks will matchup against Central Maine Community College (CMCC), Community College of Rhode Island (CCRI), Quincy College, and more. A highlight of the season will be a home doubleheader against conference rival NHTI on April 20th, offering fans a rematch of the fall series that saw the Hawks sweep the Lynx in all 3 games.
Coach Zack Robinson had this to say about the start of the season: “We’re very excited about the roster that we’ve brought back to compete this Spring. We’re here to chase championships and I believe we’ve put ourselves in the position to do that this season. Our guys are working hard, our leaders are stepping up, and we’re clicking on all cylinders. I’m excited for what’s to come.”
