Whyte Records His Collegiate Personal Best

CAPE ELIZABETH, ME-- Freshman, Kyle Whyte (Falmouth, ME), recorded his collegiate personal best of 96 at the Southern Maine Community College invitational this past Sunday.  Whyte represented the York County Hawks in conference play competing against golfers from Southern Maine Community College, NHTI, Great Bay Community College, University of Maine at Presque Isle, and University of Maine at Augusta.

This is just the third match for Whyte who improved by 7 strokes over last weekend at Purpooduck Country Club in Cape Elizabeth.  Great Bay Community College took the win on the day edging out Southern Maine.  The top golfers of the day were Wade Paquette and Robbie Creteau from Great Bay Community college who both shot a 76 on the day.
