Announcing the York County Hawks Men's Soccer Inaugural Season

Wells, Maine - York County Community College (YCCC) is excited to announce the expansion of its athletic program with the introduction of men's soccer this fall. Coach Chris Melino has recruited a team of amazing student-athletes that are ready to hit the field as proud members of the College's first team.

Hawks fans can look forward to cheering on these players at their home opener on Saturday, September 21 at 3:00 PM or on Tuesday, September 24 at 7:00 PM for a fun game that will be played under the lights at Sanford High School.

Athletic Director Nic Lops stated the addition of men's soccer to YCCC's sports offerings, "We are thrilled with the addition of our Men's Soccer program here at YCCC. Coach Chris Melino has worked tirelessly to put together a solid roster for this first-year program. The team has been practicing together since the middle of August, and we are excited to see their hard work show itself when they begin playing games."
